”I want to pass on a message of value and craftmanships, with help from techniques and traditions. How can I, through traditional and simple weaving techniques, with a playful approach to surveys with both colours and compositions, get this message through?”
In this project, have I been working with old traditions of weaving, to get deepdown knowledge in weaving as a construction. Colors, materials and constructions have been important for my process. And of course, I could not do this in an other way then to work on the warp weighted loom. So I had to built it myself.
The warp weighted loom, with rocks to hold the weight and threads to make the shed.
